2011 Masters-Stay at Lake Oconee

Welcome to the first of many posts to come about the 2011 Masters Tournament being held at Augusta National Golf Club April 4th through the 10th. Lake Oconee is the perfect place to stay for the week as we’re located just 75 miles west of Augusta. After a day at the tournament you will leave one golf paradise to come and stay at another! Accommodations of all sorts can be found in Reynolds Plantation, her sister neighborhoods, and around the lake from private home and cottage rentals to the Ritz-Carlton Lodge and other hotels. Packages for this year’s event are available as well.

Today’s find…Roadtrips specializes in creating custom travel experiences to the world’s most exclusive sporting events. What does their 2011 Masters Luxury Golf Standard Package include? Two badges and VIP hospitality to Saturday and Sunday’s final two rounds, 5 days/4 nights first class accommodations in Reynolds Plantation, round trip car service from Atlanta to the lake, 2 rounds of 18 holes of golfs on one of Reynolds five championship courses, police escort from the Lake to Augusta, and more! All for the cool, cool price of $7,995 per person. You can contact them to customize your own golf package.

Stay tuned as I continue to search for incredible deals on Lake Oconee accommodations to help make your 2011 Masters experience the best yet!

Hey Margie, glad I just happened on to your blog. I was searching for the “Eye Level” connection, as so many are! If I get a lead on that, I’ll pass it on. Sorry I haven’t had a chance to meet you. I was part of the RE/MAX …. Coldwell Banker merge in Dec., after having been selling R.E. on Lakes Oconee & Sinclair since 1978 (Oconee since ’83). Come by and see me, just across the Hwy from Eye Level????? Maybe we can do some business together.
